I only collect information to enable me to carry out my business services for you.  
You may request a copy of any information I have on record for you at any time and you may request that I remove all information about you at any time.
I will delete all information recorded about you if you have not undertaken business with me after 1 year as a matter of course unless you have had a colour service*
I will never share any of your information with any other third party  

* Colour records need to be kept for 6 years 

What information do I collect about you?
When you book an appointment for a service, treatment, or purchase a product I collect information on you. This may include your name, address, birth date, email address, phone number & payment transactions
This maybe by online, on paper, SMS message, by email or over the phone.
Regarding some of my services I may have to collect relevant medical history and will obtain your consent prior to storing this information. I do this to ensure you are safe to have a treatment and to ascertain which services, products or treatments are ok to go ahead with, or are contra-indicated.
A Contra-indication can be a condition or factor that prevents or restricts treatment. For example, allergies, pregnancy, certain skin conditions are common contra-indications. I will also keep a record of your treatment history along with any other notes relevant to the treatments or services. For example, hair colour formulas and product applications


Appointment confirmations and reminders
I will contact you via phone, email, or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments. I consider you having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity, but you may opt-out at any time.


Marketing campaigns are based on services and products purchased and information I collect from you. For example, I may send marketing campaigns related to your birthday, and other special days like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Of course, you may opt out of receiving marketing material at any time.


Where your information is kept
General information is kept on a passworded electronic devices. 

Medical data and skin test data are kept on paper records and are kept in a locked file

How long personal data is held for?
I aim not to hold personal data longer than necessary. Unless requested by an individual, Client general & health records will be removed if no business or service has been used in 1 year, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed
